Has anyone else noticed that the SV305 sensor is not aligned with the optical axis or is it just my camera.
The horizontal axis is reasonably well aligned, but the vertical axis appears to be well out.
When I insert the camera into the lens mount, the centered object is no longer in the center.

Re: SV305 sensor position
Hi,
just had a look at mine and I think that the sensor does look to be a little off centre in the vertical direction. I should note that this isn't unusual and I've seen in other brands of cameras well.
Cheers, Robin

Re: SV305 sensor position
Hi Robin,
With my camera it is not just a little bit, when the camera is rotated through 180 degrees the object at the center travels completely out of
the field of view
Compare images attached 1 and 9, taken by rotating the camera 180 degrees.
I have worked on video measurement projects in the past and found errors of tens of pixels, but never an axial misalignment of this size.
I have spoken to Rita at Svbony and she has asked one of their engineers to investigate. They have promised to get back to me on Monday..
They are very proactive and respond really quickly.
