webcam logitech pro 5000

This camera saves stuff in mp4 format. Can These files be read by this software? If not, what should I do? I know, ditch the camera, but I would like to fool around with it.

Hi,
SharpCap is software for capturing and saving image and video files rather than viewing them, so it will not be able to open MP4 files, although you will find that there are other applications that will.
If you use SharpCap to control the camera then it will save videos to either AVI or SER file format rather than MP4.
