Hi,
I am having trouble getting sharpcap to work with my QHY163M. Can you please help?
The camera and cable work fine with EZCap. USB Selective suspend is disabled.
I have attached the system information output, screenshots as suggested showing usbview with and without the camera attached.
For some reason, I can only attach three files. I will send through the USBview files separately.
Yours,
Nick

Re: QHY163M USB Issues
Hi,
I have moved your posts out to a separate thread in the qhy subsection of the forums.
If the camera is working correctly with other software then it is unlikely that the USB view data is going to provide the clues we are looking for. That tends to be most useful when the cameras refusing to talk to the computer at all with any software.
Have you tried the suggestions of
1) using the supplied cable with no extensions and
2) adjusting the USB speed/Turbo USB control on the right-hand side to try both low and high values to see if that has any effect.
Cheers, Robin

Hi Robin,
Thanks for getting in touch with me. I am not using any USB extensions and I have been fiddling with the USB speed slider to no effect.
Yours,
Nick
