QHY 174 M/GPS and Thermal Controls

The controls don't seem to be active. It says the current temp at startup is 27.8C. I am very sure the temp is around 7C. Is my camera faulty?
There seems to be possibly some dependency on the order that you adjust the controls for the QHY camera – try setting the cooler power to auto and then adjusting the target temperature after the cooler power has been set – that usually seems enough to kick the cooler mechanism of the camera properly into life.
