Will I be able to pick enough stars with the 174MM and 925 EDGE HD? I would like to know before I get the PRO version.

Re: ASI 174MM
Hi,
not sure what you are need enough stars for (polar alignment?). Anyway, the best bet is to try it and see - you can test (almost) all the pro features without buying the license, you just either don't get to save any images or you can't get to the last adjustment stage of the polar alignment without the Pro license. Either way, you can see whether it is working or not before buying.
cheers,
Robin
PS... If it is polar alignment then I think the long focal length of the 925 will mean that your field of view may be below the minimum of 0.5 degrees in each direction. There are a number of field-of-view calculators around online that will work this out for you based on your equipment.

Okay, thanks Robin, I didn't realised it was possible to use this way.
