Saving changes within profile

I'm very happy with Sharpcap but there is steel a misterious. I always use Raw 16, format Fits, active cooling.. I've created a profile. When I save these changes and recall the profile, I always find again Raw8, SER, and cooling inactive. Where is the problem?

The camera is ZWO ASI 294 MCS
I join 2 files (the name of my profile is "ASI 294 Deep Sky(ZWO ASI294MC Pro)"

Hi,

I cannot make the problem happen based on your saved profile (I used the ASI071C, but that should not be a big change).

Please can you retest with the latest SharpCap (4.0.8138), and if you still see the problem then do the following.

1) In SharpCap Settings, go to the 'Logging' tab and check the box for 'Camera control values and capture profiles'

2) Open the camera, try to load the profile

3) capture the log and send it to me

Hi Robin
I follow your advises and send you here the log file.
What I do:
- connect camera ASI 294MC
- load profile ASI 294 Deep Sky
- modify following parameters:
> RAW 16
> Formats FITS
> activate cooling and set temperature to -15°C
> Save profile (update)
- disconnect camera

and again
- connect camera
- load profile
>> parameters were not saved so I modify them again and save again the profile.
- disconnect camera

and write this message!

Hi Dominique,

the log you have attached contains the information about saving the profile, but I cannot see any entries related to reloading the profile in it. I would expect to see something like the text below - I tested with SharpCap in French UI to see if that causes the problem, but it still seems to work for me.

Was there another log perhaps?

really sorry, but that log also only contains a save of the profile, not a load.

Is it possible that the button text for the load/save profile buttons is badly translated in French? The load button is the left-hand one - see https://docs.sharpcap.co.uk/4.0/#Capture%20Profiles

what I do now:
- connect camera
- create profile DeepSky 294
- set values (RAW 16, FITS, -15°C, 600ms (about), gain 500)
- save profile
- disconnect camera

- connect camera
- select Deppsky profile
- charge it (I'm not sure to do that in the past)
- verify values: all is OK except file format setted to SER.
- change file format to .FITS
- update profile
- disconnect camera

- connect camera
- select Deepsky 294 profile
- charge it
- file format is still set to .SER
- dsconnect camera

... send this mail.
Note that I must have to modifiy logging parameters to reactive logging of changing profile.
