I am trying to run sensor analysis for my camera and after it auto adjusts it does not give me a selection box or allow me to draw one in order to proceed. All I get is a little red arrow pointing to top left corner of the image capture screen. Any ideas on what I am doing wrong?

Most likely the box is totally minimized. Try this:
Set your mouse pointer on the red arrow, hold CTRL on your keyboard and then scroll upwards with your mouse wheel. You now will zoom in on that spot and the box should become visible. Left click on a corner of the box and drag it to enlarge it. Make it as big as possible and then go to 100% view again (drop down menu in the upper middle next to Zoom).
If needed you can make the box now bigger or smaller.
