Hi,
two ways to enable the new code.
1) click on the 'Live Mode' button in the toolbar to deselect it, putting the camera in still mode
alternatively
2) stay in 'Live Mode' but change the 'Force Still Mode' option to 'on' in the controls

Re: QHY 168C Capture Exposures Incorrect
Hi Robin,
I ran it in Still Mode (indicated at bottom left of window) but no joy. It would not capture or even create a folder for the run. I tried with DDR Buffer both on and off. I tried Force Still mode while in Live View and got the same result.
Tough nut to crack!

Hi Happy_10,
It's not clear to me exactly what you're asking. I am using a gain of 10 and offset of 50 based upon recommendations by QHY and actual tests for optimal performance on DSOs. Have you found a difference in capture exposures/rates using a gain of 15?
I have not noticed amp glow with my 168C.

Hi Kent,
it was a spam post that got past our moderation - people now look for similar content on other forums and copy+paste it into their spam posts to try to get them approved - in this case the content was grabbed from this Cloudy Nights thread : https://www.cloudynights.com/topic/6397 ... -problems/
