Smart Histogram - Brain sky measurement
Does camera sensor temperature matter when using sky "measure" function in Smart Histogram Brain? In other words, does the sensor temperature need to be at the temperature I plan to use for my light frames?

Re: Smart Histogram - Brain sky measurement
Hi,
the short answer is yes. The slightly longer answer is that while it does matter, the effect is only going to be significant if the thermal noise in your camera is significant compared to the sky background brightness. If you are working in light polluted skies then you can probably ignore the temperature effect entirely. If you have a lovely dark sky site or are using narrowband filters then you would probably be safest to try to get the temperature the same.
Hope this helps, Robin
