Hello Robin,

Just started the new version in simulation. Noted a missing minus sign in the declination.

Ascom Simulator for . NET: -47.57
SharpCap : 47.57

Found the problem. It's the letter S for south. Sorry

Hi,

Yes, I can't quite remember why but I decided to go for N/S for declination rather than +/-. It has confused at least one other person before. I wonder if I should change it?

The use of the letter S/N is very rare. Well used programs like EQMOD don't use it. Simbad, Wikipedia dont' use it either. I think it originates from written journals to prevent copy errors in case the document get dirty or has poor printing quality.

I would vote to change it.
