The analysis was done on a QHY 174M GPS.
I am not sure what this report is telling me.
Linear to 58.7 % sounds bad to me.

Hi,
The linearity measurement is rather sensitive to any variation to the illumination level while the measurements were carried out, so I wouldn't worry about it too much unless you got that figure repeatedly and were taking great care to have steady illumination with no fluctuations.
You can find out more about how the read noise affects deep sky exposures here - viewtopic.php?f=35&t=456, but basically for longer exposure work there is no point raising the gain beyond the point where the read noise graph flattens out (about 250 gain for this camera).
