Sharp cap pro

I am new to sharpcap coming from MaximDL. If I purchase sharpcap pro is there a purchase requirement of the regular sharpcap in addition to the pro?

Hi,

Regular SharpCap is free to download and use. In fact you can try out most of the pro features before you buy – what happens is that you try out the feature you're interested in and use it as much as you want, you just can't save any image files if you try out the pro features. The exception to that is the polar alignment where you can get as far as measuring how far out your alignment is using the free version and need to buy the pro licence to get to the final stage where it guides you in the adjustment of your alignment.
