Licence issues

#1

Post by Rattler »

Hi. I had a Sharpcap licence through my Altair camera and once that expired I purchased one that runs until January 2020. I've now bought a Zwo camera and it's stating that I need to purchase anothericence as my current licence is for Altair cameras? I find this odd as it's a purchased licence. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi,

Whenever you have a new licence you need to remember to go into the licence page in SharpCap (Help-> SharpCap Pro License) and replace the old licence code with the new one. Your new licence should have arrived by email when you purchased and if you can't find the email get it re-sent to you by visiting this page https://store.astrosharp.co.uk/Recovery

These and many more questions about licences are unanswered here – https://store.astrosharp.co.uk/Faq

Hope this helps, Robin

Hi,

plate solving isn't a Pro feature, it's a feature available in both the free and Pro versions of SharpCap.

You need to install a compatible plate solving application and make sure SharpCap detects it - see https://docs.sharpcap.co.uk/3.2/#Plate%20Solving%20Tab

cheers, Robin
