Hi guys when I boot up sharpcap and connect my camera the bottom right of the screen there’s a green rectangle box continually taking frames.Not sure if this is normal.Maybe this is looping for focus in live view is it?
Just concerned it’s taking shots and filling up my hard drive.
2nd question when I take sub exposures where does it save them?As I want to save files onto a external hard drive.

Yes, that's what is expected to happen – think of SharpCap as being like a video camera in that it takes pictures all the time but only saves them when you press the record button or the snapshot button.
