full frame capture/stack CRASHES after a frame or two

#1

Post by Rojoyinc »

I have a ASI094. 72mb files. I want to stack live and tried last year and it crashed.. I've left sharpcap for a year and trying agian and same. (not fixed yet). My only solution is to BIN2 to cut my res in half but defeats the purpose of having a 4,000 camera. = (
Will we ever see this fixed? is there a memory adjustment I can do in software to make it work? I've played with memory settings increasing as high as possible and no help.

P.S. a friend down in Argentina was testing the 094 with sharpcap online (LIVE) and had the exact same problem. HE also assumed memory and a bin2 solved his demo problem - but doesn't let us benifet from full frame sensors. = (

hello, are you using 32-bit or 64-bit Sharpcap for this 7376 x 4928 camera?

You definitely need to be using the 64-bit version for this sort of very high resolution camera.

If you still get problems with the 64-bit version then do submit any crash report messages that pop up and let me know that you have.
