I did a sensor analysis on my ZWO ASI385, and it came out very similar to the data at the ZWO website. The differences were <10%. So I have two questions:
Are deviations of <10% significant, i.e., will they have a noticeable effect on smart histogram functions?
In the absence of doing a sensor analysis, does Sharpcap default to the manufacture’s values?

Re: Sensor analysis values vs. manufacturer specs
Hi,
those sort of variations are just down to small errors in the measurements and won't make a significant impact on suggested exposures. SharpCap does ship with a library of measurements for a selection of cameras (updated every now and then with new models), but it doesn't use manufacturer data as it needs more info than is available in those little graphs!
cheers,
Robin
