Hi Robin,

I have a SX Lodestar X2 mono that I would be happy to test direct support in SharpCap 3.1. (You will recall a few months back, that I struggled with getting the polar align/star detection on the Lodestar to work with SharpCap 2.9 and the SX ASCOM driver).

Regards,

Errol

Hi Robin,

Would be happy and willing to try the sigma stacking with my Altair 178M on DSOs and report back!

Thanks 😊🍻

Robin,

How are you progressing with the SDK for the Starlight Express cameras?

Hi Jim,

the alpha build has the SX support in it - I'm looking for testing and feedback particularly for colour and cooled cameras (as I have a mono Lodestar X2, so can't test colour/cooling).

cheers,

Robin

Hi Robin,

Glad to know the SDK has an Alpha build set for the SX. Now it's just a matter of testing.
I have a cooled SXM25C so I'm waiting with abated breath for beta testing. Can I help out at all?

Hi Jim,

I think you are already a member of the alpha testing group, so if you head on over to the alpha testing section of the forum, you should be able to download the alpha and give it a try. Particularly interested to hear if you get a proper image and if the colour is correct - don't worry too much about cooling just yet.

Hi Robin,

While I can connect the camera to AA6 and Neb 4, I can not do so in SC3.1. Any idea why?
I have the latest ASCOM build.
Thanks,
Jim
