Using sensor analysis

#1

Post by cuivenion »

Hi, Just wondering if it matters if the camera is connected to a scope or not during sensor analysis. Also is it ok to use something like an ipad/laptop screen with somthing to diffuse the light a little like white paper or a stretched t-shirt? Similer to taking flats.

You can do it either way. If you have any of the translucent 1.25" dust caps then they are great for sensor analysis, or a CS meteor/all sky lens if you have a nice evenly lit wall to look at. All it needs is constant illumination.

cheers,
