Mount not showing in Sharpcap hardware settings

I set up Sharpqap and got it working with an old laptop and my EQM-35 PRO mount, however I don't think the laptop had sufficient resources to run it.

I have now installed ASCOM and EQMOD and Sharpcap 4 on my wifes newer laptop but can't get the mount (which shoed an eq5/6 setting which I used on the old laptop).

Presumably I've missed somethin in the ASCOM/EQMOD settings?

Hi,

do any other ASCOM devices show up in the hardware settings drop downs? I've seen cases where the ASCOM installation has somehow gone wrong or been damaged, meaning that nothing shows up. A log is always welcome as it may show what is going on.

Hi,

OK, so that means that SharpCap is not being able to load ASCOM correctly. I would try an uninstall and then reinstall of the ASCOM platform as a first thing to try.
