If SC detects my camera (and it does, ASI294MC Pro), do the captures then use the ZWO driver or the ASCOM driver? I ask becuse it affects the color balance settings for later use in PixInSight. thanks,

Hi,
it depends which entry in the Cameras menu that you use to open the camera - if you use the one under ZWO ASI Cameras then it is the direct driver. If you use the one under ASCOM Cameras then it is the ASCOM driver.
