"Disconnect" Live Stack Histogram from Display Histogram Stretch?

#1

Post by Anthony Quintile »

Is it possible to not have the Display Histogram Stretch affect the Live Stack Histogram?

If not, this would be nice, at least as an option, so that I can have one stretch for auto focus, and one to watch my stack without having to re-set the Display Histogram Stretch each time I focus.

Thanks for any advice-

Hi,

I suppose that you could imagine an on/off checkbox for the display stretch histogram, but in general my usage of that tends to be mostly either 'Auto stretch' or 'Reset' - it's rare that I adjust it manually beyond the autostretch (or the slightly secret autostretch modifiers - CTRL for more stretch, SHIFT for less).

cheers,

Robin

I’ll try the shift-stretch option

Full autostretch seems to be too much

Thanks

Hi,

one more thing - there is an 'auto stretch intensity' slider on the first page of the settings - this controls how strong the default auto-stretch is. If you are finding it is too strong for your situation, then just tweak this downward until you get results you are happy with.

cheers,

Robin
