Debayering on ASI533MC

#1

Post by zerolatitude »

The lights show RGGB in the FITS header
Darks and flats show GBRG
Seem to work fine, but could this cause problems at any stage?

Hi,

are you using the Flip option at all? That switches round the pattern and I wonder if perhaps it does not work for the darks/flats?

cheers,

Ah, I see....

the individual frames are FITS, and SharpCap saves them with a ROWORDER=TOP-DOWN field (which is a new FITS standard and implies the pattern is reversed), but the reload of those fits was ignoring the ROWORDER. I have a fix for the next 4.0 update.

cheers,

Robin
