Query regarding the use of Brain function. When using narrow band filters do we need to measure the sky brightness through each filter or will LRGB measure be sufficient?

Hi Bob,
you need to measure the sky brightness through the narrowband filters – when you do that you will get a much lower sky brightness value which will then cause the brain to recommend a longer exposure. I guess it will depend on the relative transmission of your different narrowband filters as to whether you need to measure for each separate filter or whether one of the narrowbands is enough.
