Live stacking the moon
I cant get the live stacking to work on the moon. Are there certain settings that i need to do? Please help Im getting very frustrated.

Hi,
Live stacking isn't designed to work with the moon or with any other sort of high-speed imaging such as planetary or solar. Live stacking is aimed at deep sky imaging where you are taking individual frames with lengths from one second up to several minutes.
There is an existing discussion of the same topic here with pointers to how best to use additional stacking software to create stacked images from moon videos saved in SharpCap. viewtopic.php?f=19&t=2602
The weird thing is that as far as I can recall no-one has asked this before and then two peole ask in one week. Is there perhaps something posted online somewhere that wrongly suggests this might work?
