single video time laps

Hi
I would like to create a video on Sun: one frame every 15 seconds and saved in AVI format, no individual images, but can not figure out how.
In practice I would like to get a video that contains an hour of shooting in a few seconds; I repeat I don't want single JPGs but a single video

Look in Capture > Start Capture. You need this:

[edit]had another read of your original post. If you get single frames JPG or PNG then these can be combined into an AVI using PIPP. Load the individual frames into PIPP then use 'Output Options' to create the AVI. PIPP at https://sites.google.com/site/astropipp/. Hi,

Perhaps a better approach would be to set up a normal video capture and set the 'frame rate limit' control on the right-hand side to be one frame every 15 seconds. The camera will continue to capture at a much higher frame rate this, but only one frame every 15 seconds will be displayed and saved.

Using this approach, you can saved AVI or SER files as normal. This is the approach I use my all sky camera.

A much more elegant solution than mine. I often wondered where that setting could be used - all sky camera.
