Polar align
To align to the Polar, does the mount need to be connected in the start position in tracking mode?

Hi,
To be honest it doesn't matter whether the mount is tracking or not – you will be looking almost precisely at the pole, so the amount of movement caused by the tracking in a few minutes is completely insignificant.
