update to 3.2.6248

When I started SharpCap yesterday, it announced availability of an update to 3.2.6248. I tried twice to install this update, but apparently nothing happened. As far as I know, I'm still running 3.2.6173. How do I get 6248?

You can navigate to the downloads page https://www.sharpcap.co.uk/sharpcap/downloads and get the latest there. At the top of the SharpCap window in the margin the version is always display.

apparently nothing happened

What can happen is that a window which is requesting permission to carry out the install gets hidden behind another window. Have a look on the taskbar for any programs awaiting user input.
