Hello,
I have made an avi for an occultation with timestamp inserted inside. Now I would like to make a curve of the occultation, but there is no information of datation in the avi file. AstroimageJ for example is unable to find any timestamp data.
Thanks for the help
Michel

Re: Datation of avi frames
Hi,
SharpCap doesn't record the accurate timestamp for each frame into saved AVI files – if you want this information the best option is to capture into SER files or individual FITS files. See the documentation on the pros and cons of the various output formats here - https://docs.sharpcap.co.uk/3.2/#Captur ... 0Explained
Cheers, Robin

Michel,
you can try TANGRA (with manual timestamp entry) or PyMovie + PyOTE (much more to install, also manual entries possible).
