Re: Questions about Japanese localization of SharpCapUserManual
Hi
It's not a technique, but it's simple.
Open the SharpCap 3.2 folder (C: \ Program Files (x86)) and
move the English “SharpCapUserManual.chm” to another location,
Place the Japanese translation file (.chm) instead,
I just copied and pasted the English file name "SharpCapUserManual.chm" and changed it.

Hi
However, if you update the latest version of SharpCap.exe,
You need to restart the executable file (.exe).
(If you do not restart, the original English version is displayed)

Hello Robin
After that, can I download "Japanese SharpCapUserManual" from the website?
By the way, It's another story.
With CCD-based telescope focusing software "FocusMax"
I provided help and tutorial for Japanese translation to CCDWare, Ltd.
Thanks to the forum administrator, we made it easy to download from the website.

Re: Questions about Japanese localization of SharpCapUserManual
Hi All,
*** Especially to Japanese users ***
This time, SharpCap Japanese user manual was created in Web format.
This is the best content that has improved the character string of the CHM format document body introduced in the past.
Thanks to the original author Robin Glover-san for advice on creating this.
Published on my own website with the consent of the original author.

Re: Questions about Japanese localization of SharpCapUserManual
Hello Robin,
I contacted you for the first time in about a year.
Thank you very much for the Japanese translation of the user manual.
By the way, is it impossible to translate the SharpCap program (.exe) into Japanese?
"No" or "Yes" is fine.
Best regards,
Watanabe

Re: Questions about Japanese localization of SharpCapUserManual
Hi Watanabe,
please have a look at the beta version of SharpCap 4.0 - I have started adding translations into other languages for parts of the program. So far the menus and control names/values can be translated, and Japanese is included : https://www.sharpcap.co.uk/sharpcap/sha ... s/4-0-beta
I'm intending to slowly add more areas of the application to the translation list, although I will not be going any further until after SharpCap 4.0 is released.
thanks,
Robin
