Hi,

What do you mean?

The way I'm thinking about it:
For CHM files only, use the "Add/Remove Topic Files" button in the HTML Help Workshop to replace all HTML files with _target="blank" and rel="noopener" that are already attached to the link in the CHM file This is the way to create a new CHM file.

(In my case, I just add rel="noopener" in turn during the translation process, so there is no pain)

There is a reference article on the Japanese site below, and I tried to actually try it, but gave up because it was too difficult.
「Add "rel="noopener"" to the link "_blank" that opens a new tab」
https://gray-code.com/javascript/add-no ... l-element/

********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

As for the "Table of Contents" on the CHM start page, it doesn't exist in the file from the recent update, which is true?

Hi,

as far as I can see, the risk with using just 'target="_blank"' is that while it opens a new tab to show the link, the two tabs are still sharing information in the browser. This doesn't happen when following a link from inside the CHM file, since if target=_blank is present, the Microsoft Help Viewer launches the link into a completely different process (your default browser). There will be no sharing of information/resources in that case between the two processes, so no problem needs to be solved for the CHM file.

For the table of contents, I remove it before building the CHM file and the web help, but leave it in place when making the PDF version.

Hi,

So is there no need to add a further rel="noopener" attribute (pointless)?
And the same goes for web files, right?

Table of contents list, I understand.

Corrected (removed) underlining of non-link text strings to prevent users from misunderstanding them.

The underlined text string is:
Requirements > Supported Cameras > 「Atik Cameras」
(But I don't see any underlining in the Word document)

To remove the underline of a text link, write "style="text-decoration:none;" in the "a" HTML tag. (See below)

and,

Important:
Requirements > Supported Cameras > "Point Grey Cameras (now FLIR)" link
Please check https://www.ptgrey.com/.

There may be a problem with the web page, or it may have been moved to a new web address altogether.

Hi,

thank you - looks like the correct link should be : https://www.flir.com/iis/machine-vision/

I will update the master documentation and this change will end up in the web help and CHM within a week or two.

cheers,

Hi,

Requirements - Symbols that may confuse users in Hardware documentation.
Windows 32 / 64-bit, 64-bit supports> 3Gb memory, the inequality symbol ">" seems to be wrong in the documentation?

Why don't you do the following?
Windows 32/64 bit, 64 bit supports more than 3Gb memory.

Rob

Hi,

If you have an existing Pro license and want to use V4, why don't you make it clear on the website and in the user manual that it can be taken over so that users are not confused?

Hi,

yes, good point. There is a bit somewhere on the web site that does say that Pro licenses include upgrades, but even I can't find that right now...

Ah, I found it - https://store.astrosharp.co.uk/faq

Anyway, good call.

Hi,

It's hard to find that page.

So, have you thought of including the following document in your user manual?

「Note that if you have an existing license, you can use any version of SharpCap and update it whenever a new version becomes available. (There is no need to purchase a license every time you upgrade)」

なお、既存のライセンスがある場合、SharpCapのすべてのバージョンを使用でき、新しいバージョンが利用可能になるたびにアップデートできます。(アップグレードのたびにライセンスを購入する必要はありません)
