The manual says you can do it but I can't figure out how. Tried clicking and right-clicking on everything and no joy. What am I missing?

Re: Renaming Capture Profiles in Manager
Hi,
Oops, I think you found a place where the documentation is claiming a feature that doesn't really exist I did have a plan to make a rename feature available for the profiles but by the look of things it never quite got implemented.
If you really need to rename profiles then you can do so by renaming the files that they are saved in – go to the directory
Just make sure you only rename the part filename before the camera name in brackets.
Cheers, Robin

Code: Select all
C:\Users\<your user name>\AppData\Roaming\SharpCap\CaptureProfiles

Ah. OK. So if something is in the documentation but not in the software, is that a reverse Easter Egg?

Yes, something like that. I even found a mention of it in my internal to-do list – all the items around it were checked off but that one wasn't
