I have begun EAA using an Atik Infinity camera and their Infinity software. I have several series of .FITS files that were saved during imaging sessions with that setup. I have purchased a Sharpcap Pro license and have been reading the manual and forum posts to start my learning process because I want to switch over to the more comprehensive features of Sharpcap. I am wondering if on these cloudy nights if I can use these files to simulate using Sharpcap to gather images from my camera and experiment with the various features to view the images. This way I am hoping to separate the camera acquisition portion from the image manipulation part.
Thanks,
Don
Can I use existing .FITS files collected by another application?

Re: Can I use existing .FITS files collected by another application?
Hi Don,
Yes, you can use the virtual folder monitor camera to make SharpCap read the existing image files one at a time and basically process them as if they had come from a camera. More documentation here space –https://docs.sharpcap.co.uk/3.2/#Virtual%20Cameras
Cheers, Robin
