ASI294 not connecting on new laptop

I got a new PC laptop (ACER Swift3)... (sharpcap worked fine on my HP computer and always connected to the ASI294).

My ASI294MC is not found by Sharpcap but the camera is recognized by windows. Rescan for cameras does not help as well. Tried every port.
Using the same 1m cables that I was successful with on my HP computer.

Looking for sharpcap Camera USB troubleshooting tips to establish a reliable connection. :?:
I must confess that I am MAC guy and got a PC just for astrophotography.

Hi,

The first sort of check the plug thing to try is to make sure that you have already installed the ZWO drivers for your camera on the new laptop. You need to install these as well as installing SharpCap.
