How do I use Banding Suppression & Threshold

How does one determine what settings to use for the Banding Suppression & Threshold controls? I am using with a ZWO 178MC camera with the suppression set at 15 and threshold at 30. How do these numbers relate to one another?

Also when shooting flats and darks should these be set the same as the lights?

One final questions when using Livestack do these preprocessing controls only affect the Livestack photo or do they affect the individual saved frames too?

These controls affect all saved images, both live stacked and individual frames. You should use the same settings for darks and lights, but using them for flats is probably irrelevant as the brightness threshold will mean that flats are not affected by these controls.
