I am not understanding the file naming protocol. When I take pics I want the pics under a date with the pics being named by target and filters if used. Reading the manual I thought that when I put a target name in the toolbar that would create this. The SharpCap settings for file names is confusing the tar out of me. I have googled this issue and I am still confused. Any help would be appreciated. Came from using nebulously and Byeos and they are more straightforward in file naming. Thanks

Hi,
Probably the best thing to do is to play around in the filename setting configuration in SharpCap, since as you change the options it shows samples of what the filenames will look like with the options you have selected.
