Re: QHY cameras
You would need to install the windows drivers for your camera, but I'd expect that you had already done that. What model(s) do you have?
thanks,
Robin

Re: QHY cameras
Hi,
thanks for the info - I am wondering if the QHY SDK that I am using is perhaps not supporting some of the older models of QHY camera. Can you get the cameras to work using their ASCOM drivers?
thanks,
Robin

Re: QHY cameras
Hi Ian,
I have checked with QHY and they confirm that these older models of camera are not supported by the SDK used by SharpCap - your best bet is to use the ASCOM drivers for these cameras (and to ignore the message about using the direct driver for QHY cameras that you get when using the ASCOM driver as it doesn't apply to you!).
cheers,
Robin

Re: QHY cameras
Thanks for looking into the problem. Will continue to use ASCOM for my QHY5
