Post by Lee Housden »

May be a silly question but having great results using live stack but in say a 2?hour imaging session is there any setting to stop the SharpCap stacking frames that have aircraft flying through or other unwanted frames that ruin the finished stack how can I save stack in fits set it to fits but seems to save it each time in png thanks lee

Have a good read of https://docs.sharpcap.co.uk/3.2/#Live%20Stacking particularly FWHM tab for filtering poor frames (think of thin cloud) and Stacking tab for Sigma Clipped Stacking (to filter out airplane trails).

You can use either function on its own or have both enabled together.
