Pixel intensity value indication

#1

Post by Dirscherl »

Hello,

is there any possibility to get the actual value of the pixel intensity at the position of the cursor (or of any other marking like the crosshairs)?

For example in Firecapture the pixel intensity at the position of the cursor (in numbers 0 to 4096 for a 12 bit camera) is always indicated. This helps a lot to adjust the correct exposure time and gain in order to prevent under- or overexposure.

I am sure there must be some way to get this information. If not, such a feature should be included into the next version of SharpCap.

Best regards,

Hi,

you can try out the new version by downloading the beta release from this page - viewtopic.php?f=38&t=3121

The full release of SharpCap 3.3 is still some time off.

Cheers, Robin
