Hello,
1) Currently running 3.2.6248.0 (2/28/2020) 64bit Pro. Help/Check for Updates reports "No new updates currently available" - obviously wrong.
2) What is the correct procedure to update manually to latest version without losing current settings, including license and configuration?

As I understand it, the Check For Update doesn't work at the moment.
Just head over to the SharpCap site and download the latest version and install. All settings and license are kept. I did that now a few times without problems.

The way Robin has designed the 'Check for Updates' functionality is to not make the very latest uploaded releases available automatically as these tend to be bug fixes or SDK updates. That way the latest automatically available update tends to have been exposed for a period of time to allow for a 'testing window'. This way people upgrading via 'Check for Updates' get a version which has had some exposure/testing. As updated versions are deemed stable/proven they are made available via the automatic update process.
