revise old stack

#1

Post by Davidbr_48 »

I'd like to go back and tweak stacked images that have already been saved. How do I retrieve the "raw" stack, without the adjustments I made when I saved it?

Hi,

it depends on how you saved the stack as to whether you can do this... See https://docs.sharpcap.co.uk/4.0/#Actions%20Group

If you saved as 16 bit or 32 bit, then the saved data does not include the stretch, colour adjustments or other display processing - those files would be suitable for the reprocessing that you intend to do.

If you saved 'with adjustments' or 'exactly as seen' then the saved files do have the adjustments in them - there's no way to go back from those files to the raw data.

cheers,

Robin
