Save as Viewed to include Display Histogram

#1

Post by donboy »

Robin, in adjusting the image in Live Stack it seems better to select the Live Stack Histogram Auto Stretch and then make all your display adjustments with the Display Histogram. Unfortunately one can't save this image and the Save as Viewed only picks up the Live View Histogram image and ignore the Display Histograms one.

This is nothing new to you but it would help a whole lot for those of us that want to capture what we have adjusted on screen to actually capture and Save as Viewed.

Don't worry, I haven't forgotten...

I have all the bits of code needed to do this, but they are in different parts of the program and it will be a tricky job to get them all to talk to each other without making a big mess of the code.

cheers

Yes it would be Very nice to have in the program...To help post on the CN forum with there new changes (5-5-2018 ) and they now realizing that that "EAA" forum is very much now involved with posting pics of the observation...With in there many restrictions..and we my not have to use any other programs other than sharpcap to post there.

Also sure would be nice to be able to increase or decrease color intensety...(RGB) once its set the to our preferd balance,,
Thanks

Hi Bob,

see the 'Plans for SharpCap 3.2' thread - viewtopic.php?f=22&t=833

Saturation adjustment is on the list of things to do and so is the save with stretch you are asking for.

cheers,

Robin
