A new brand has come out on the planetary and deep-sky camera market with very aggressive prices

for example the ASI 2600 mono

vs

are these cameras compatible or will they be compatible with Sharpcap?

Re: A new brand has come out
Hi Carlo,
good timing... I have been in discussions with the manufacturers of these cameras and the latest SharpCap 4.0 beta has trial support for these cameras (https://www.sharpcap.co.uk/sharpcap/sha ... s/4-0-beta). I have a couple of models here to test with and have had all the normal features of the cameras working, but they have had limited other testing so far. If you happen to get one then do report any issues that you run into.
cheers,
Robin

Re: A new brand has come out
Just to follow up...
I should say that as far as I'm aware the cooled models don't exist yet, so SharpCap doesn't support cooling on these cameras. When I have one to test with I will add support for cooling...
cheers,
Robin
