Whilst I can use a second copy of SC, or another program ! to monitor what's on the guide camera; I wondered if it were possible to just have a popup or embedded small window showing just the guide camera and what it's looking at?
I accept I may have missed this feature if it's already in existence

no, I'm afraid not – one copy of SharpCap can only open one camera at a time. If you want to run two cameras then as you've spotted you need to run two copies of SharpCap at once.
