Sensor Analysis for DSLR

Post by dpmenzer »

Just to revive this.

It looks like for DSLR that SharpCap needs to be able to digest Raw files for this to happen. I realize that is a big step, but is there an approximation that can be made, such that it may not be as accurate as for CCDs but still adds value?

Thanks,

Dave

Hi,

I think this can now be achieved by using the new DSLR ASCOM driver - I have certainly seen analysis results for a few different DSLR models being posted here and on other forums.
