Capture to a single color channel
It would be nice to allow mono cameras to capture to a single color channel. One could then use filters to produce narrowband images in colors like the Hubble Pallet or augment a RGB image with Hydrogen Alpha filters.

Actually, you can do this in PIPP (https://sites.google.com/site/astropipp/downloads) after capturing in either RGB or RAW - Run the captured file through PIPP and choose one of the 'Monochrome Conversion' options on the 'Processing Options' tab. This approach even lets you pull out the 3 channels from the same file, meaning you only need to capture once.

Ok, I understand now - I had missed the critical 'to' in your suggestion. This suggestion is to be able to have a control to allow the selection of the colour channel that the live stack frames add on to. For instance, you could select 'Red' while you are using an Halpha filter, then switch to a different filter and direct the frames to the green channel etc all in the same live stack session.
An interesting idea - will consider it for a future version.
