Hi Robin,

I think could be very useful a routine to measuring camera angle (from drift) and draw the reticle automatically on the right angle

Cheers

Hi,

I'm afraid I must admit that I don't really understand what you're asking for here or why it will be useful. Can you explain in more detail please?

Cheers, Robin

Sorry sometimes I am little tight of words,
I will try to explain better the request:

to align the AR and DEC mount movements to the reticle I need to rotate some times the camera, this could be annoying and also not completely accurate and I have also to refocus after rotation.
I saw in an "old" software (EQAlign) this function and I think it is quite useful.
Following on the camera the drift of a star (stopping the mount motors) the software could determine perfectly the direction and the angle of drift and then tilt the reticle of the same angle without need to guess with trial and errors the right camera rotation.

I hope it will be more clear ( :P )

Thanks

Fabio
