First attempt to Jupiter using ADC and color camera

#1

Post by filippo.ciferri »

Hi to all,

attached my serious first attempt to Jupiter using ADC and asi 462MC, C11 at f/20. Using the sharpcap ADC tool, I have meausred 0.5 on both the red and the blue vectors, I really do not have any reference, so I would ask if those are good values. I have my telescope in Italy, the planet is quite low on the horizon and maybe improductive to sample without the ADC.

Comment and suggestions are welcome.

Thanks

Filippo.

Hi,

great image - well done!

0.5 values for both the red/blue offsets are excellent values (the numbers are the deviation of the red/blue centers of the image from the green one, measured in pixels). .

cheers,

Robin
