2-panel mosaic, 71% waxing moon

Post by turfpit »

Captured 23rd March 2021 around 16:00 (sunset around 18:30). Thin/intermittent cloud.
Celestron C8 + f/6.3 reducer + IR685 filter + Skyris 618m camera. Each panel 1 minute capture - 7200 frames @ 120fps.
SharpCap 4.0.7572.0, Autostakkert!3 (stack best 10%), Microsoft Image Composite Editor, GIMP.

Virtual Moon Atlas challenge for those clouded out - find the crater Hadley C. It is 4 miles across, which is about the limit with this equipment.

Crater Hadley C is close to Hadley Rille and the Apollo 15 landing site.
