The Moon's altitude was 63 degrees, and the Sun was 6 degrees above the horizon, so the sky was still bright blue. I used a conventional LRGB Red filter to turn the sky nearly black. I made several runs with different ROI's and frame rates, but I like this one the best. It is a 2-minute SER file using a 4ms exposure, but since it is full frame 1920x1080, I could only capture 741 frames in 2 minutes which works out to about 6 fps.
In my instructional video, I describe how I use PIPP and AutoStakkert3 to create a single stacked image from a SER file:

This final image used the best 20% of the 741 frames, so it is a stack of 148 frames.

I created a video in Full HD with zoom and pan to my favorite features. Read the video description for special links.

Nice image Brian! I like the overall brightness/contrast balance.
Question on Affinity Photo. I know the program but not the newly added astrophotography part. Is that any good/useful?

Menno,
I haven't explored all of its features yet. I think I read somewhere that it has the ability to stack, but I could be wrong. As of date, I've only used traditional Photoshop-like tools. I really liked the HDR image creation tool.
I used Affinity Photo on the following image. It enabled me to zoom in very far while making this video:

I am happy with the product. You can't beat the cost of $25.
