Celestron C8, JMI motorised focuser, Skyris 618M CCD camera, IR685 filter.
10,000 frames @ 120fps. 640x480, 8-bit SER, exposure 1.81ms, gain 10%. Stack best 25% with Autostakkert 3, GIMP 2.10 for sharpening, contrast, gamma.

That's an interesting shot! I wouldn't have even thought of trying it ---misty and a full moon would of had me heading back in - but just shows there are things to capture even under horrible conditions with imagination.

Thanks Tim. Note the difference between the SharpCap capture screen and the final image - the 120fps helped with that. I have never captured the rays like that before.

I am not afraid to try things - count the number of craters on this 85% waxing moon https://www.astrobin.com/iwqbtx/?nc=user.

A better Copernicus with the right illumination https://www.astrobin.com/o0gpts/C/?nc=user
